Rajasthan notifies a single consolidated figure per category rather than a separate basic and dearness allowance, so the table shows the total only.
Rates cover all scheduled employments only. Other employments notified in Rajasthan carry their own notified rates, which are usually higher. Verify against the state notification before running payroll.

Rajasthan has the lowest minimum wage of any large state and one of the least active revision records. The general rates were raised by ₹26 a day across all categories with effect from 1 January 2023 and have not moved since. The monthly figure is the daily rate multiplied by 26. The state does issue an annual VDA notification on 1 October, most recently on 9 October 2025 for the year to 30 September 2026, but it applies only to a handful of specified industries such as stone crushing, glass and chinaware, salt, woollen carpets and papad, not to shops. Draft Code on Wages (Rajasthan) Rules published in January 2026 propose half-yearly revisions in place of the current practice; until they are finalised, the 2023 figures remain the floor. Most formal employers in Jaipur pay well above it, and the central floor wage, once notified under section 9 of the Code, would force a revision.
